Plex Tuning's PDM-13 is a power distribution module with 13 output channels engineered to deliver electronically controlled power to a wide range of vehicle subsystems, including actuators, lighting circuits, solenoids, and electronic control units.
This module supersedes traditional electromechanical components such as relays, fuses, and circuit breakers, thereby reducing wiring complexity while enhancing system robustness and fault tolerance.
Similar type high side outputs can be joined to provide power for higher current devices. The available output pin combinations can be seen in the Plex Device Manager V2 while configuring a power output.
Some of the outputs have PWM capability to allow speed control of fan and pump motors.
Besides the high side power outputs the device also has 5 inputs for buttons, switches or sensors.
An RGB LED communicates the device status.
Communication with the device for configuration / update is done via the CAN bus port using a compatible USB to CAN interface cable.
